achieve the Brickwork Advanced Apprenticeship Framework.
Apprentices must successfully achieve all the elements before an
Apprenticeship Certificate is awarded by the Sector Skills Council
- Construction Skills.
Apprenticeship
NVQ 3 in Plastering
- Conform to General Workplace Safety
- Confirm Work Activities and Resources for the Work
- Develop and Maintain Good Working Relationships
- Confirm the Occupational Method of Work Plus two of the
Optional Units:
- Produce Plastering Finishes for Existing Projects -
Endorsements, Internal
- Plasterwork AND/OR External Plasterwork
- Conserve Solid Plastered Surfaces - Endorsements, Internal
Plasterwork AND/OR External Plasterwork
- Conserve Fibrous Plasterwork
- Produce Fibrous Plasterwork for Existing Projects
- Install Fibrous Plaster on Existing Projects
- Health & Safety Test Required
Level 3 Diploma in Plastering
- This course covers the following topics:
- Knowledge of and use of building methods and construction
technology 3,
- Know how to and fix dry lining and plasterboard products to
interiors
- Know how to and produce plaster components
- Know how to and position and secure fibrous plaster
components
- Know how to and apply plaster materials to produce complex
internal surfaces
- Know how to and apply plaster materials to produce complex
external surfaces
- Know how to and form screeds and granolithic finishes and know
how to and prepare and run in-situ moulds.
