Who is this course for?
The course suits middle/senior managers who want to gain
top-level management skills.
What will be studied?
This course will involve academic study and evaluation of
current research, theory and models in the area of management. It
will also have a strong practical focus to enable learners to apply
management techniques and skills to realistic scenarios. It will
provide a professional qualification for students who are
practising managers or who wish to change career and pursue a
career in management. Please note: for this course there is an
additional £200 fee to cover a residential weekend as well as the
fees listed below.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need an appropriate qualification to study this
course, such as a Certificate in Management Studies, a relevant
degree or equivalent. Applicants should also have a minimum of
three years middle management experience. You will need to complete
a diagnostic test and be invited to an informal interview with the
course tutor.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through assignments for each taught unit and on a
10,000-word work-based project. Students also meet regularly with
tutors to help plan studies and discuss progress.
