What will I study?
The aim of this training course is twofold:
• To look at the personal safety issues surrounding the
task/activities that you carry out at work or in your private
life.
• To identify strategies and actions that can be implemented
to ensure the personal safety of you and to others.
These are the compulsory subjects:
• What is personal safety- what does this really
mean?
• Legal implications.
• Managing Violence and Aggression.
• Safe Working Practices.
• Dealing with Violent and Aggressive behaviour.

Assessment is a short test of 30 multiple choice questions.

The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) is a
Professional and Educational Body dedicated to the promotion of
Environmental Health. As well as providing services and information
to its members, the CIEH advises Government departments on
environmental health and is consulted by them on proposed
legislation
