What will I study?
- Preparation of pipework to be tested to IGE/UP/1A
- Demonstrate procedure for strength testing of gas pipework
- Selection and set up of purging equipment
- Demonstrate safety procedures
- Calculate pipework volumes & test calculation
- Use of warning notices and associated equipment
- Carry out appropriate tests
- Demonstrate correct use of gas detection equipment
What can I do next?
On successful completion of these assessments candidates
will be eligible for further ACS categories within the commercial
sector.
What are the requirements?
Candidates must hold current ACS certificate COCN1 or CoDNCO1
