Progression
Currently there is no Level 3 in Steelfixing, however, if
a candidate wanted to progress they could opt to undertake
Construction Site Supervision at Level 3, if their work allowed. As
part of lifelong learning we encourage learner progression.
The qualification offers employment opportunities as learners
are demonstrating occupational competence by qualification
achievement.

Overall assessment method for the qualification
Cskills Awards has a quality management system in place
which operates through Quality Advisers, Senior Quality Advisors
and a Quality Manager. This system supports Internal Verification
and complies and meets the requirements of the NVQ Code of
Practice.
The Principle of holistic Assessment is positively encouraged by
Cskills Awards.
Qualification structure summary

plus two Optional units from Group B.
Candidates may complete the Additional Unit is they wish.
