NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care

The qualifications will help communications with, and complete records for individuals. It will support the health and safety of the student and individuals, develop knowledge and practice and ensure your own actions support the care, protection and well-being of individuals. The various levels of the course can cover specialist knowledge for working with children and with adults.

Mandatory Units
The candidate is required to complete all four mandatory units if working in social care

Unit Combinations
To gain the full NVQ all four mandatory units plus two optional units from must be achieved if working in social care. In the healthcare setting two core units, two optional units plus a further two units (from either the core or option group) are required.

Additional units are available but cannot be used as part of the NVQ.
